There are lightweight stainless small containers for lunches, Amazon has quite a selection, I'm going to invest in some. Glass is too heavy!

I bought some reusable sandwich bags from an etsy seller, they're good for dry foods.

Also, wal-mart(I hate that place, but they've wiped out the competition), has pyrex containers(w/plastic lids) in a large variety of sizes... :)

I use kleen kanteens(stainless) for lugging around water...

You know a lot of those cutesy "environmentally friendly" water bottles(being sold EVERYWHERE these days with really stylin' designs) are aluminum...egads.
