Re: latest rantings from Jim Humble
I am not sure how Jim Humble came up with his numbers, but a 0.00004% concentration would be 0.4 PPM. Since a 3 drop dose of
Miracle-Mineral-Supplement mixed according to the
Miracle-Mineral-Supplement protocol gives you about a 190 PPM concentration, his numbers are way off.
I love the comparison to the Lubbers study. That study gave people 5 PPM chlorine dioxide in water and they drank it over a period of 12 weeks. During that time a whole battery of tests were done to monitor for signs of oxidative stress. The conclusion was that 5 PPM did not cause oxidative stress over a period of 12 weeks.
The problem is that the study was done with chlorine dioxide and not the chlorous acid that activated
Miracle-Mineral-Supplement forms. When you add chlorine dioxide to water the PH of the water doesn't change. When you activate MMS you end up with an acid with a PH of about 3.
In addition, a 3 drop dose of MMS has a concentration of about 190 PPM, which is 38 times stronger than what was used in the Lubbers study.
Jim Humbles claim is that since 5 PPM was extensively studied and tested, 190 PPM without any study or testing is perfectly safe...
AND the proof that it is safe is that he has sold many copies of his books, and many bottles of MMS have been sold.
Somehow there seems to be some logic missing from all of this.
