I've had over a year now of major dental work. A year ago I had a root canal tooth extracted and got adult braces. Back in December I got an implant to replace the one I had pulled which will get a post installed April 11 for a crown. My braces are being removed on March 22nd, they look perfect. I worry about the nickel metal in the braces also but once they are gone the only metal left in my mouth will be the titanium implant under my Zirconia crown. Also I will be wearing a retainer which also contains nickel.
