Wow. I had forgotten all about juan Cole, even though I used to read him regularly. It was important back then to see some glimmer of common sense among all the "shock and awe" of the Bush/Cheney reign. Then Obama came, I breathed a sigh of relief, and took a break from politics. And, so, have missed out on some good reading. Thanks for the article.
