Re: Please help me

Yes, you do have options. Please call the Domestic Abuse Hotline at 1-800-799-SAFE. The person on the other end of the line will be able to help. If there is a local group that you can turn to, the person at the Hotline will give you that info.

In the meantime, document everything that he has done. Don't use the computer to document this, write it down in a notebook. It will come in handy when you file for divorce.

Also, check out Nar-Anon. It is a group for those who have loved ones who are drug abusers.

The folks who attend Nar-Anon meetings will offer support and will keep everything you've discussed confidential.

Finally, do you literally have no family anywhere? No immediate family? No extended family (grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins)? No one at all(even out of state) that you can call on for help and support? Or is it that you do have family but fear that they won't be supportive or will say "I told you so"? If that's the case---assuming they aren't in an abusive environment---it may well be worth it to swallow your pride and give them a call.

Best of luck with everything. Do call the hotline as your first step, assuming there is no family for you to call.
