About Fecal transplants……. PLEASE HELP

I have ulcerative colitis for more than 10 years now….

I am 29 years old male, tried many choices but no result. I can't use Pentasa , Cortison…. etc
As my doctor said it is affecting my liver. Specially Pentasa he discovered that I have some kind of allergic from it.

Now I can't see anything that I can give it a try except " Fecal Transplants" and I have no idea about it..

My question is:
- How many people try it and work for them?
- What is the procedure in detail?
- Is there any side affect?
