Re: Wow.. juices really do help get your weight up.
It all depends on 'where you're at' and what your body needs :)
Those that are overweight consistently lose weight when juice fasting (some more, some less, depending upon the juice choices, metabolism and other variables); many that are thin will gain...some that are thin, will lose a bit more before they start rebuilding (because the body is using the nutrition/fuel from the juice to "fund" whatever healing, cleansing and/or restoring process needs to be supported).
The body knows what it needs, and if we allow the body to decide what to do (and in what order), our healing will ALWAYS progress much quicker (and be more balanced).
Of course (and this is more of an issue for guys than gals), there are NO animals in nature that walk around looking like 'bulked-up balloon-men on steroids'...nor even 'tiny versions' of that extreme. "Muscle building" can be quite a burden on the body when it's taken to even a small extreme. Muscle 'mass' is not always an indicator of strength, and certainly not health.
The musculature of a small-farm farmer (tending his fields, cattle, barn, and daily chores) was/is "ripplin'" (especially in the days before all the fancy-schmancy equipment)...not usually bulky, but extremely tight & well-defined.
If you're low on 'juicing produce', have a few more tablespoons of Superfood & bee pollen every day :)
