Spinal Stenosis Surgery 4-5 mths ago on spinal stenosis.. still painful

Had surgery for over 5 mths [spinal stenosis].. strangely not sure how it happened. I had I believe an L4/ L5 herniation...Could not walk much, right leg was numb all the time like needles poking, Right foot was kinda painful. After the surgery [dr said that he did not remove any thing except make an indentation to release the pressure from it. It worked well.. somehow now 4-5mths later.. it is fine but when I bend to work on the yard I still feel I cannot bend for too long. It is not pain but a strange kind of feeling like getting real tired on my back very fast.. like within 1-2 hrs. In the past I can work like 8-9 hrs on the yard with no back pain. Ideas or what can be done or I have to live with this... I can work again after resting for like 45 mins or 1hr. Or is it still too early for me to get back to being normal..
