People suffer because they do the wrong thing, and\or put their trust in man's laws that play against the laws of nature... or put another way, God's natural laws.

400+ years before Christianity began, Hippocrates also stated to leave the potions in the chemists pots... or something to that effect... and he was not the first to state so.

This is nothing new... nor is it a Christian centric knowing, however, I do find it interesting that the *belief* spans across all contents and cultures, and also appears in many different religious practice texts... not just Christianity.

It is yet another point that nearly all religions have in common... people, in general have just lost their way... permitting themselves to be led by the false prophets of, and for profit.
