In general, it is thought that oxidative stress is what causes you to age.

Specifically, oxidative stress from consuming chlorous acid (activated Miracle-Mineral-Supplement ) will most likely show up first in the blood. There are a variety of tests that check for this including platelet count, white blood cell count, red blood cell count, hemoglobin, hematocrit, mean corpusclar volume, high peroxidase activity, methemoglobin, neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, and basophils. In addition oxidative stress can result in an imbalance of electrolytes and cardiac and respiratory irregularities.

The disinfection by product of chlorous acid (activated Miracle-Mineral-Supplement ) and chlorine dioxide is chlorite. Studies with animals have demonstrated that chlorite has a half life in the body of a little over 40 hours, and it penetrates all the organs of the body including the brain.

This is enough of a concern that water treatment plants are regulated to limit the amount of chlorite left over in drinking water after disinfection.

Eventually the chlorite is passed through the urine and some of it goes on to form chlorate and chloride.

With any oxidative therapy, it is prudent to monitor for signs of oxidative stress.
