Re: Another RAI success story [edit]
"On an individual level, we can all take steps to reduce our risks. Follow screening guidelines for breast, colon, cervical and prostate cancer. Know your family history and discuss it with your health care provider.
Be aware of your personal risk factors. Make healthy lifestyle choices. Don’t smoke and if you do, try to quit. Wear sunscreen and protective clothing. And, no matter how busy you are, don’t skip that annual checkup.
Your family will thank you for it…for years to come."
At the end of the article, she's recommending exposing yourself to more radiation via mammograms and blocking sun rays from your body so you remain vitamin D deficient there by putting you at continued risk for cancer. Sigh!!! It's too bad that instead of RAI and surgery that her husband DID NOT GET MORE
Iodine AND MORE VITAMIN D!!!
