MamaCP,
Do you think the Truth in Medicine will be taken down, every last post? I was thinking about it - who has the incentive to do so? I wouldn't think CZ does if T.in M. was one of the top 3 or top 5 forums. It's still a knowledge base, an archive (still receiving traffic), with much of the content still being true 50 years from now. They could pare it down, only keep the best, most informative posts/threads, but that would require man-hours which they have very little of. (Opening yet another forum is easy, but editing/moderating one that already exists takes time and energy). And HV's mission was to help people so I don't see him having the incentive. The posts represent, cumulatively, 100's of hours of work.
But if you're safe-guarding against some kind of crash, makes sense. I wasn't around then, have no clue what happened. --cargo
