Hi,

thanks for the prompt reply. As about whether you've hit the nail on the head, I have to say "yes" and "no"...

Yes in terms that I did have some episodes in my life of eating junk and being depressed and these episodes very probably played a role in the development of my disease.

No in terms that I am a sporty person and most of the time I eat much healthier than anybody around me. Also, being into sports I haven't consumed substantial amounts of alcohol since living in a student dorm, which was like 10 years ago.

Also, for the last year I have been diligently following a GERD specific diet, which is highly restrictive and is a real pain. No coffee for me for a very long time now. No fat. No carbonated drinks. No simple sugar. I am sleeping on a bed with an elevated upper part, which is causing me the world of problems with my back.

In word, I am a professional GERB sufferer and still not getting better. So, this is my hell.

Do you think fasting could help?
