I think it will be difficult for Sweden to extradite Assange to the US, they will be under the spotlight, and hopefully he'll get a fair hearing. In some ways it will be good to have this incident out of the way, it will remove at least one weapon that is being used against WikiLeaks.

WikiLeaks can get back to doing what they do best, exposing corruption.

BTW, I've also been called naive, but I have found that the ones that do this, usually think that "they" know everything, and have a very set world view. These are also the people that call others "sheeple", "the herd", "the masses", and other derogatory names.
