Re: New Forum Herpes, Herpes Zoster, Shingles & Chickenpox
I know, I miss stuff like that too, that's plain as day once you know its there.
My grandfather had shingles the first time in his life when he was 89 and it was very very painful for him. It lasted about a week. I think if one is younger it is not as bad, or so I've read, that its really bad if one is old.
As with all viruses, supplementing with ascorbate, lysine, and proline effectively inhibits the virus' tunneling via collagen synthesis. I recommend 4 grams a day of extra potassium the first two days, for myself. I do not know what others should do and refrain from telling others what to do !!
For topical ailments, one can also kill them with heat, analogously to how pasteurization works in deactivating enzymes, if one can stand the pain. De-activate the enzymes in the intruder and he can't proliferate.
