Re: My IC (Interstitial Cystitis) is healing!

Hi everyone! I am new to this whole thing...I have not been fully diagosed with IC in fact when I had a cytoscopy done I was told I didn not have IC. That was before I realized that you need a hydrodistention to really diagnose. I am still unsure, but I am taking the anti candida route, and I am on anti fungals and the diet. I only have urgency and frequency, and this seems to diminish when I am on the anti fungals.I take piles of acidophilous too. I want to allow my bladder to heal.... this all started when I was put on alot of anti biotics and got a huge yeast infection. That is why I believe this is connected to candida for sure. It ONLY affects my bladder and nothing else. I have also heard that Candida can cause bladder inflammation/ pain/ frequency as well.... so I am hoping that once I stay on this diet for however long I have to that I recover...NO sugar, no dairy, no potatoes, and very little bread, only spelt bread. I have a prescription of Elmiron in my purse....... I DO not want to take it at all, I would rather do this al natural... I do not have pain, but sometimes I get a pang or two down there, and I know it comes from my bladder. I pee alot during the day... but ussually only once at night...I would love to hear from avacado girl to see if there was anything else I could do to help myself! Sometimes I get SO discouraged, but really doctors are no help, they just will give you Elmiron... I have a naturopath right now and SHE seems to think this is ALL yeast, and that it can preset (yeast) in different ways and that yes it can affect the bladder because it is so close to the vagina, and that is where women tend to have yeast, even if they do not have an INFECTION. There has got to be a way to hea this.... look like we are iur own best doctors... Tweet
