Human and Animal Survival

There are many stories of human survival during the recent floods that struck Queensland, Australia. Their will and strength of so many got them through it. The communities fought together to survive. They looked after eachother which is a bond I am sure will be with them forever.

There were so many animals as well that fought to survive. The link below shows footage of a horse struggling in the floodwaters, with the horse owner and a rescue worker doing everything they can to save him.

Fortunately, the horse survived along with others and I found it quite moving when this horse evenutally walked up and onto dry land.

Our hearts are so capable of saving lives, as well as being there for eachother, of lives we dont even know, or our neighbour who we may not get along with too well.

We are so willing to jump into the flowing floodwaters to save them, as well as our beloved animals.
