Polio virus, flu and other goodies

Nice. What a bag full of precious gifts!
A trip through Enterovirus/Polio research instantly brought up some clues to hereditary links, Lyme and symptoms of immune system crashes all around. Many bookmarks to revisit here. Amazing how one can look at the same info many times before all the sudden it starts to unravel and fly in one's face. Improved connectivity? Thanks NP!

Exerpt from a friend's recent email:

"I got hit with an intense, instant flu. It just came over me like you would put on a body glove. I could actually feel it moving down my body when it happened. You know when paint is thrown against canvas and it travels down - well it would be like that. I could actually feel the movement in my body. It took about 3 seconds to get lamb basted by it. . . never experienced anything like it before". He's in his early 60's.
