Thank you! This info is an eye-opener. When I saw the protests on the news yesterday and the king apologising I figured it would be good to know more about this country and here it is! Well I knew they were a part of OPEC, rich and muslim-ruled - the superficial stuff but this info fills in lots of gaps.
Wondering how far they´ll get - being a US ally. One would have "expected" that a monarch having being educated in "democratic" countries would have more respect for the minorities. But I suppose it´s all way more complicated... with culture and traditions playing a major role. Tweet
