Terrible ringing in left ear

Wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if it got any better or (fingers crossed) went away.

I've had tinnitus on and off for years, don't even remember how long. I've also had bouts of vertigo which would last for a few hours to, one time, a couple days.

About two years when the couple days of vertigo happened my ear got completely "full" and the tinnitus has been constant ever since. My doc sent me to an ent, who have me an audiology test (had about 50% hearing loss), looked in my ears, listened to my sypmtoms and said I had menieres. The crazy thing is a couple of days before my next appt my ears popped, I felt everything drain, I could hear perfectly again and, of course, no ringing. I went to my appt. they gave me another hearing test which was perfect and shook their heads. They decided it was allergies and wanted me to come in idk how many times a week for allergy shots for years to come. Needless to say, I didnt do it.

Anyway about a month later all my symptoms returned and have stayed with me....ugh. So, I've learned to live with it, the tinnitus is just in my left ear and hasn't been that bad. That was until about two weeks ago when I upped my Iodoral to 50mg. Now the ringing is TERRIBLE! It's so loud I can't even listen to the radio because it's just too much noise in my head. I really can't hear anyone on my left side because of the nosie (of course I'm pretty deaf on that side anyway because of the fullness).

I was just wondering if there is anyone else who has dealt with this and/or if anyone has any suggestions on what to do. I've do salt flushes, I do all the companion vitamins, and had some detox symptoms including sadness, zits, fatigue and just pushed through and not thought about quitting, but this is, for me, the worst of it all and I'm really not sure if I can live with this if it doesn't go away or how long I should wait to see if it does go away.....help!
