Hi #134260,

Water retention occurs usually when one is dehydrated. Drink enough plain water for your body to be hydrated. My suggestion is not to take a warm water enema but to use a warm saline solution enema. 2 teaspoons per quart or liter.

Plain water enema, in my opinion, should not be retained for more than 10 minutes.
