Been using luffa sponges for years (well on and off) but
hav´nt grown them. Love using them... they really are fantastic.
Thanks for posting this... checked out this website about the possibility of mixing this "sponge-like-material" with re-cycled plastic for making walls in Paraguay and came across loads of interesting info and videos (have´nt had the time yet to watch them)...
Another interesting bit of info is that the seeds ground up are used for lowering high blood pressure.
