Re: Windfarm nimbyism says no at a time when we need to say yes.

The wind farm here is a tourist attraction, people visit it everyday, so much for the wind farm detracting from the beauty of the area. lol, people take photos of it, because it is beautiful.

We did have a few nimbys here, but they were not taken seriously, I guess people wanted less pollution, more than they cared about a few people's self interest.

We now have a clean, renewable, reliable, electricity supply, something we did not have before. Lots of people are also going for solar power, particularly on farms, replacing expensive, polluting, petrol and diesel generators.
