Re: Please help me cure my dog! Golden Retriever 6, multiple Lipomas

Our Golden Retriever has been plagued with these lumps, the only solutions the vet offered was to lance them. Around Christmas 2010 one had reached the size of a goose egg,I got very concerned so I decided to put about half a quart of CS in his water dish which holds about a gallon of water twice a day. As of today it has shrunk to the size of a marble, but is still there. I make my own CS with the silver puppy. I've heard of other people having the same problem with Goldens. Our retriever is about 11 years old, 112 lbs. and eats kibbles & bits, tables scraps and anything that gets in his way.

When I first started making CS about two years ago, our Golden could barely walk and had a foul smell about him. He lives in the pool and never dries out, I think he got a fungal infection. So i decided to give him CS in his water and in less then a week the smell was gone and he was walking fine again.
