Hey Tony - I do have a question somewhat related to this post. And it has to do with coffee enemas. I had a liver function test done maybe three or four years ago. Can't remember the official name, but you ingest caffeine, tylenol three and aspirin, and you track how the body deals with them. And you take the test over maybe three days if I remember correctly, so you aren't taking everything at once. And you aren't ingesting massive amounts of them. I can't take aspirin (I think because of my liver), so I lost out on some of the data.....
But longstory short. I do have a problem with caffeine. It isn't deadly to me. But I have considered doing the coffee enema in the past and haven't because of that reason. Now I know that people will say that the coffee/caffeine doesn't actually enter into the bloodstream, but I find that hard to believe. I don't believe that the body has any ironclad impermeable barriers. It seems to be just anecdotal evidence or theory they are relying on. And people just parroting what they have heard from the first person who put up the theory. Can you shed any light? Thanks....
