Yasi has crossed the coast.

Cyclone Yasi has crossed the coast, I no longer have any contact with my family over in North Queensland. There are sketchy reports about the damage that is occurring, but not many have power, and many of the mobile phone towers are down.

I'll have to wait until morning, just like everyone else, to find out what has been the damage toll.

I'm just hoping for the best.
