Yes, to me it was a hassle. Cleaning after every butt-pee. And then the very tiny cholesterol stones get stuck in the tiny holes, had a heck-of-a-time cleaning that out. Quit using it. Then I found out that I don't have any calcified stones--so I didn't need to use it anyway!!
Try it. It won't hurt. The cheap ones are just $1.
