Seals have a wonderful and peaceful energy about them and to see them cuddling us human beings shows just how lovable they can be. Our township has our own resident sea lion and we call him Sammy.

He has been coming everyday for many years by the jetty for a free feed from the fishermen. Sometimes he likes to sunbake on the beach and also bring his little mate in, a smaller seal named Salty.
