Hydrocortisone reduction!!!!

Ok, I hesitate to even write about this yet, but here goes:
for the last two weeks I dropped my level of hydrocortisone by 2.5 mg each week. I had been taking 15 mg /day for 7 years.......things were falling apart and I was desperate. The couple of times I tried to get off didn't work....

so now, at the urging of an ND i am working with I am giving it a go again. Today I drop to 7.5mg. I can't say I have really noticed it so far. This is really telling me that the Iodine is doing its job!!!!!

Yes, I will acknowledge that with her help I am pretty sure I killed off a C. Difficile infection and I think there may be another infection in there of something, but the fact that my energy level is decent and not plummetting is very exciting.

So, you'all are the only folks I have told, I haven't even told the girlfriend....yes, I am afraid to jinx it by talking about it.....
But, I figured if I really want to pretend I am some kind of a scientist, I need to document, so here we go......

This ND also had me do this 3 day flush with Calcium D-glucarate which I mentioned a week or so ago.....that seemed to have opened up some detox/or lung clearing.....never got sick, but two weeks of hacking up yellow/brown crud out of my lungs.

So I am cautiously feeling optimistic about getting off of this corticosteroid....
