I think my child has skin cancer

Over the weekend I found 2 suspicious moles that were scaling on my son. I tried to make an appt with his doctor today but they are closed. Just a bit ago I looked at the moles again and one looked even more odd so I barely scraped it and the top layer of the mole came off really easy like a scab, it just started crumbling and it's bleeding now.

I"ll be getting him an appt ASAP regardless but need to know if anyone thinks this is melanoma, and what can be done. I have heard about blood root and cansema and such and not sure if they are safe. I saw some horror stories online and pics of disfigurements from people using these things. I"m not sure if they were accurate or not. Tweet
