Doing probiotics on a regular basis is always a good idea to maintain digestive health. It doesn't hafta be like taking pills since many foods particularly cultured foods like kefir, miso etc. Contain active probiotic cultures.
No kefir is not gross at all unless you consider yogurt gross since kefir is sorta like liquidy yogurt and like yogurt it comes in many fruit flavahs. It's just a little more tart than yogurt. I enjoy it as a treat mixed with apple and other juices besides mixing it into my smoothies.
