Can TMAU begin to a female at 49?
Can TMAU happen to a female at age 49? Can a woman get TMAU during perimenopause and does it eventually go away with menopause? How about with borderline diabetes?
I went to the gynocologist and he said I'm not going through menopause but never did any tests. I went to my internist and told him my
Body Odor problem and he said it's probably all in my head. I asked about my smelly sweaty feet and he said to put talcum powder which I told him I did and it didn't help. He said I might be going through menopause. My internist ran a diabetes test at the AC1 test came out normal and the fasting came out 129 so he wants to see me in 2 months. Now I'm going to the dentist to see if it's anything dental.
About four months ago is when I started getting this
Body Odor . It seems to come from my feet, my hair/scalp, privates at times, and my breath. When I speak for long periods of time, that's when it seems to smell the entire room. I try to keep my talking to a minimum but my job requires me to speak.
My "ritual" consists of washing and conditioning my hair every day, showering with antibacterial soap followed by deodorant soap, using talcum powder on my body and shoes, and using antiperspirant. At work, I'll spray with Lysol about every two hours and will use baby powder smelling baby wipes after using the bathroom and to freshen up my body during my breaks and lunch. I use tons of breath mints and gum and it only reduces the odor but doesn't eliminate it.
If it is manopause or diabetes, will the chorophill or charcoal tablets help as well? I'm going to have to go to my doctor and insist on complete bloodwork including a test for TMAU. Frankly, I'm afraid that this will eventually impact my job.
