Re: EMODEPSIDE - a novel anthelminthic!

Hi

My MRI with contrast liquid came out normal... only shows if infestation in brain is massive, kind of Neurocysticercosis

I´ve done, elisa, and pcr (not cheap)my stools samples on the lab negative.. I took it to a vet saying it was from my dog: result: he performed the willis test and came out eggs negative, oxalate calcium presence and presence of dead worms of toxocara...

pcr for filaria and toxocara negative, and for filaria only is reliable if you have a gretaer nr of female worms, otherwise cames negative...

my hemogram shows 6% of eosinophilia (blood marker for parasites)- my doctor (prof in the matter) says only to worry if it gets to 15-20%... Had enough really...

I have taken ivermectin from spain (24 mgs daily for 10 days and nothing..)

heard this moxidectrin horse paste is a differnt form of ivermectine- its a possibility-

also considered drontal for dogs(dewormer) since it has febantel and it was tested in humans also with no problems (isolated not in combination with prazi and pamoate pyrantel)

Emodepside is made with a little venom of the black widow spider... thats why i havent tested yet, but know it was tested last year with results in oncocercosis and nematodes.
