Bleeding after MMS douche

My doctor recently recommended douching with Miracle-Mineral-Supplement (12 drops twice a day) for a chronic case of vaginitis. Over the course of a couple weeks, I slowly ramped up to the 12 drops, but once I reached that many drops, I bled afterwards...not much, but enough to scare me to death and all my doctor said was to discontinue use. Does anyone have any insight as to why this happened?? Is this normal? Many thanks!!
