I experienced this first-hand.
I started eating 5 raw carrots a day, just to get more vegetables in my diet. I eat them first thing in the morning and I noticed that my stools are bulkier and more normal looking but more importantly, I noticed intestinal worms in my stools. I didn't even know I had them so I googled this and I found out that carrots remove intestinal worms from your intestines and that you have to eat them first thing in the morning. I am so happy I discovered this by accident. In addition to that, I also feel a general sense of well-being, my digestion is a lot better. You have to increase the amount of water that you drink if you decide to do this, carrots are high in fiber and if you don't drink enough water, your intestines will dry out and you may get constipated.
I'm so happy that I plan on eating 5 carrots a day forever, raw of course and they're easy to carry around.
