How is your little lemon tree? It is difficult to grow citrus in very cold climates, they are a temperate climate plant, and they like the sunshine.

Maybe you could try some dwarf apple/pear/peach or nectarine, plants, in pots, Chiron. They fruit very well, and actually like the cold winters. Most are self fertile, but having 2 will yield better crops.
