Re: Magnesium Oil and OCD

I am reading this thread late so the original poster may not be reading this. I just started taking 5 htp for mood, cravings and pms. So far I am very happy with it. The other supplements that help with mood that I take are fish oil, and b complex. I have been taking N-A-C for a couple of months and increased the amount to 1200mg on my psychiatrists advice (can take up to 2,000mg). I do not have OCD, but bipolar.
N-A-C is getting lots of research and is being accepted into the mainstream for it's benefits is helping with emotional issues like obsessive behavior. I hear it is good for OCD. Nutritional supplements are great because they help the body in a number of ways. I had been taking N-A-C for my gallbladder. Medicine can help one symptom but also cause side affects.
