You should take your doctor's advice for treating this. However, once my doctor prescribed Menthol Crystals crushed and powdered at 2% mixture by volume in Aqueous Cream.

This was prescribed by my doctor and prepared by the pharmacist.

I noticed when using this that it had a gentle heat, as it penetrated into the scalp follicles. I found this worked for me.
