You have every right to be concerned with what your are experiencing. It sounds like you are experiencing PTLS. I have lived with PTLS for 13years now and each year is worse than the year before. I has totaly changed my life i am nothing like i used to be. I have 3 children and all 3 of my children are teenagers now it took years before i was able to put all my symptoms togeather i know something was going on but at the time i never related any of my symptoms to PTLS i started noticing something was wrong right after i was released from the hospital with my son my body did not feel the same as before. there are a total of 54 symptoms related to PTLS and i have 47 out of 54 over the years i have been in and out of the hospital numerous times. i have had to have 2 cardiac caths already been put on two different types of bp meds fluid meds nitro for the chest pains and rapid heart rate i have had to have my gull bladder removed my apendix removed numerous non cancerous tummers from my abdomen two carpel tunnel surgerys GI medications and nothing helped have spent numerous amounts of money at the dentist, and trips to ob/gyn and have had numerous blood tests done pelvic exams and have had every test you can imagine i even had to go in to have my right overy removed due to endomertiosis and cysts i dont sleep at night i am moody amd irritable all the time i get alot of Depression have been dignosed with IBS and DJD (degenerative Joint Disease ) earily stages of ostioprosis I have to Have both knees replaced my hormone tests have came back showing an imbalance i have joint pain all over my body all the time my periods are horriable and very very painful and heavy more than they ever were i am tired and extreamly fatigued all the time my skin drys out i have alot of difficulty concentrating any more stay bloated alot get extreamly bad headaches i have alot of anxity which they gave me med for i have a low sex drive anymore i too have the hair loss my nails stay so brittle anymore i have alot of problems with dizziness and i have even developed allergies, menstrual anemia, i ahve alot of fluid retention and and pre-menopausal and they thought i had Breast Cancer so i had to see a specialist for that and there was no cancer but said i had fibrocystic breast syndrome that occurs in pre menopausal women i have literly seen every doctor out there for everything just because i was not explained to when i signed that releas form to get my tubes tied that all this could happen. thats why i said it gets worse every year it has my body and my health going in a downward spirial and if i dont do something now i will not be around to see my kids graduate so dont let them doctors tell you there nothing wrong with you when you know it is just because PTLS has not been reconized as a medical disorder does not mean that it isn't this is just one more thing that women will have to join togeather and fight for like we have always had to do. I dont mean to scare you but the pain ,symptoms, all that you have read about PTLS is very real and alot of doctors want to put you on prozac and brush it off as hormones and send you out the door like you are crazy or its all in your head but it isn't and the sad part about all of this is im only 35years old and my body feels like this already. so finally i got to the point i researched what i was feeling and i came across PTLS and was shocked to read what i was reading so i printed everything i could find along with blogs and forums from other women that were experiencing the same as i was and i went to my ob/gyn and never even made an app. i just walked in his office and threw the papers down on the desk and tol him NOW TELL ME IM CRAZY and i said im not leaving this office till you tell me how we are going to fix this, and i didnt leave till he handed me a scriipt it was a referal to another doctor that does the sterilization reversal i go on feb 10 2011 to get everything started to reverse what they did when they tied my tubes its going to cost me dearly because the insurance does not want to cover it so i will pay for it up front and fight it out with them later but the reversal is suposta reverse some of what im feeling if not totaly take it away.And i strongly believe that tubal sterilization is the main cause of Breast Cancer in women because the hormone balance has been disrupted when ligation takes place. In 2007 40,598 women died in the united states from Breast Cancer and 202,964 women were diagnosed with breast cancer in 2006 11,982 women were diagnodes with cervical cancer and most of them were younger than 45 years old 2.4 women out of 100,000 died from cervical cancer and overian cancer for 2010 was 21,880 women diagnosed and 13,850 died of overian cancer and those are some pretty scarry numbers so please pass the word around to everyone you know about PTLS because it is real and i know i do not want my daughter to go through what i have i just cant wait to have my surgery done so hopefully i will start to feel better and feel like i have my life back best of luck and dont give up.
