I have been reading on hairloss and from what I have read it is a problem with hormones. In the book 'It's your Hormones' by Dr. Goeffrey Redmond,( ISBN-10: 0060859695 )an endo expert in NYC says that the problem is estrogen levels dropping causing DHT to rise and then the hair falls out. He suggests using oral contraceptives to increase estrogen levels and to be careful which ones! some increase hair loss! Also he suggests using another medication to drop dht levels.

You have spent so much money on products / cleanses and the like it would be worth it to go see him. I plan on it! I just got the book in the mail and have been reading it. I contacted the office in NYC. They do not accept insurance but give you all correct papers to turn in to ins. One consultation lasts over an hour ($750). He sends you home with lab papers and then all other 'visits' are by phone ($250).
