Re: I'm calling for the Elders
"..No one here, from what I've read so far, does that."
you know, I don't think that's strictly true WY, although I do agree it looks that way, from many of the posts that come and go. My feeling (and my concern too) is that many people don't post, and yet they read. And even water fast, on their own, so to speak. (I'm sure some of these come from pretty good preparation--though yours might be exemplary. ;-) That's why I have such a strong sense of ethic if you will, that the forum stick close to its stated mandate, which owes so much ofits "wisdom" to what's been written down and shared, years ago. You know the old refrain: "soil and health library"
My sense is, the forum has really changed since ChrisB (for one major contributor) stopped being involved, and we lost a lot of the solid no-fear no-nonsense foundation that there really was a long history to this. Which was mind-blowing to encounter! Now, there's much more a feeling of the 'pioneer' about it. Or, no knowledge or interest in the pre-existing works. There are pros and cons to this...
I hope/trust Chris is writing his book and enjoying his life! he gave such a lot to this forum. And yes, I do miss some of the 'old-timers'. Good luck with all your preparation. You first longer WF should be a breeze, and perhaps can spawn a book! sincerely!
PS. I know a few folks have chided you, from time to time, for overthinking the whole thing--myself included, but let's remember, it IS in a friendly way. Always well-meant.
