I know this post is seven years old but I will still respond.
My friend's daughter was dx with type 1 diabetes last week. This came completely out of the blue, they have a very clean diet, organic, grass fed, gluten free. The mom told me about her daughter's stomach aches but it never occurred to me that it could be her gallbladder even though my seven year old son was muscle tested positive for gallbladder after having terrible stomach aches. He took Standard Process' A-F Betafood, 1 tablet, five x,s/day for a month. It fixed him.
I read in Lita Lee's article Diabetes that diabetics need enzymes to digest fats. The gallbladder is the driver of fats so that got me to wondering if diabetes is really the symptom of a gallbladder problem? Brock's post confirms that it is, if the info is correct. I trust all of those old medical traditions.
