Re: easier ulcerative colitis diet

thanks for that information i also strongly agree with the emotional stressor part...when i whent to see a reputable traditional chinese medicine practitioner and explained my diet plan of intention he seemed happy infact he didn't pull out the needles and we had a discussion instead.. during that meeting i asked him if emotions really could impact the health and Liver...where emotions are reputedly held and stored..he most definitely looked surprised and said ..that most certainly emotions do, why else in eastern medicine...and he said medicine...is yoga and meditation popular and widely practiced!!! It was so obvious like an elephant in the room yet i didn't see it or truely comprehend it untill that instant and he had to repeat himself twice!!! later on i discovered that in traditional chinese medicine "they never split mind emotions from the rest of the body and emotions are also under the direction and management of the liver energy or qi...i always felt emotions and stress were part and parcel of health but frankly my reasons for meditation was for reaching a spiritual plane of experience and not so much for health but now i guess due to my own physical health reasons i can only REALLY see now the merits for emotional wellbeing and it's relationship with physical health too...it's so important to find ways to be happy healthily..
