Re: Caprylic Acid

Hi. I want to say that Caprylic Acid is the same thing as Coconut Oil. the name was put in capsules because coconut oil was made fun of for years unfairly because of its high fat content, not understanding that the chain of fat..medium chain fatty acid, was good for you. Caprylic acid and lauric acid are in coconut oil and its easier to take that instead. go for expeller pressed if you dont like virgin, and make sure it does not say refined on the bottle, or it means trans fat.

I can tell you that for me coconut oil has given me tons of energy, and apprently kills off a lot of yeast because ever since i have taken it, i have been to bed sadly for three days at a time due to sinusitis. it instantly goes to killing the yeast upon contact, and if you take too much, which isnt hard to do, you can end up overwhelmed and sick. milk thistle and other Liver Cleanses like lemons in water might help it not overwhelm your body.
