Nah, dark and desperate, is not really my thing. There are always solutions that can help both people and the planet, we don't have to keep living in the same old way.

I've decided, in my own life, to make the change to driving a lot less, and the benefits from walking, and bike riding are great for my health.

We don't have any public transport in my town, but in places that do, it is also another good alternative.

People can either be victims of their circumstances, and those that think they have the power, or they can change the circumstances, and take back their own power.
