Re: Anyone have dental partials for upper front teeth ?

I don't understand why your dentist is saying he can't make a fixed bridge there. I have a fixed bridge with two teeth anchoring on either side, with 3 teeth missing in between, so that's a bridge of 7 teeth involved and it is in the top front. I was looking at Valplast too because my dentist was stuck on making some heavy, outdated partial. Forget it, go find a dentist who can make a bridge, they are everywhere. I had a flipper for a few weeks while trying to decide what to do and it hurt so bad and pulled so hard on the teeth on either side that I think it KILLED the tooth next to that space being filled and I had to have a root canal! Those partials clip in place and have to have a snug fit else they will come out when biting into food etc. Don't get a partial!!!! The teeth on either side will have so much torque on them from the clasps which must hook into them, the dentist will have to notch those teeth to allow the clasps to hook. That's even more trauma and it's possible he'll kill them. I don't trust any dentist, none of them. Follow your intuition and stick to it.
