Denta scan negative for cavitations. Going to NYC to see Dentist who has Cavitat and uses lasers for surgery

Hi All,

Still trying to have my cavitations properly diagnosed. I had a positive Cavitat Scan in 2004, but the dentist wanted to try dental appliances to expand my jaw and blood flow before surgery. I ran out of money.

Still sick with CFS, I suspect cavtitations are playing a part. I have jaw pain and even my maxilofacial surgeon who does not understand cavitations agrees that my mandible has shrunk in size over the years.

So I had a DENTA SCAN. Basically a high powered CT scan. Instead of 5mm "slices" or pictures or regular CAT scan, they took 1mm slices and did so to create a 350 panoramic view of my jaw. I was able to get insurance pay luckily as my Maxillofacial guy wrote it as "suspicion of Osteomyelytis" But the results show "no bone or tissue disease or patholgogy..." Is it true CAT scans, even Denta scans, only show cavitations if there is 40% or more bone loss?

Very frustrating to me that this very detailed view of my jaw says I'm fine when the Cavitat says I've got cavitations all over. Who to trust?

I'm going to the dentist in NYC M Cortes who has a cavitat machine and performs surgery with lasers -- instead of cutting tools -- which I've been told is more clean and reduces chance that one might have to have teeth removed. So off I go for my Jan 3 appointment. I will bring my Denta Scan and see if she can see anything my Maxillofacial surgeon missed. He was clueless about cavitations and just repeated the denta scan report that my jaw was healthy.

He also recommended I see an endocrinologist who specializes in metabolic bone disease because he does agree I've lost jaw line in the past years.

I pray that I can find some solution to this problem and also a practitioner who is skilled and will clean cavitations, but not go crazy and tell me I've cavitations all along my jaw.....I do believe cavitations are contributing to my CFS. I had a stem cell transplant and hope that it has helped heal the problem some.

I wish us all luck. I will report my cavitat findings after Monday.

In the meantimme, doing Oil Pulling and also using Dr. Schulze 's tooth and gum tincture.

Be well.
