A guess on cravings...
Get one cup of hard dried beans, like navy beans, or black...
Rinse and pick out any imperfect ones, stones, etc. Cover with water and boil for five minutes.
Strain and discard boiling water. (This removes much of the substance that causes indigestion.)
Add four or five cups of fresh water and simmer on low for three hours...watch the water level that they don't boil dry.
(Always salt AFTER cooking, else the beans won't cook soft.)
Take two or three tablespoons of the cooked beans as a late supper.
I like to add butter if the beans are hot...or a bit of my own mayo...maybe with sardines, or grated carrot, avocado, hard cheese, or anything else that looks good.
This fills me for a long time, and I have been going without bread, pasta, potatoes, and anything I am 'sensitive' to...like anything squeezed out of a cow. (Isn't that an awful way to say it? But, I have been 'allergic' to cow's milk since I was a baby.)
My stomach hasn't been biting me since the first day of eating this way.
