Re: Thanks to Tom for being so helpful

Hello Ice4me,

Yes, you need a concentration that is strong enough to work, and you need to be able to deliver that concentration to the pathogen and hold it in contact long enough to kill it.

To figure concentrations you have to do some math. Miracle-Mineral-Supplement is 28% sodium chlorite by weight and is made from powder that is 80% pure. This leaves you with 22.4%. To put this in parts per million, it has 224000 PPM. If you want a 10 PPM concentration, you will have to dilute it by 22400. This means that for every part Miracle-Mineral-Supplement you add you need to add 22400 parts of water to end up with a concentration of 10 PPM. In actual use there are a few more considerations that need to be made, but this will give you the general idea.

As far as what concentrations are needed, Jim Humble often calls for 1 - 3 PPM, but his protocol uses 190 PPM. There are no outside studies on this, so you are pretty much left to your own.

Tom
