Re: TwinOxide for malaria????

Hello Taurine,

It looks like their efforts are on purifying water. If people drink water that is not malaria infested, the incidence of malaria would be greatly reduced.

It looks like they are trying to follow the WHO world health guidelines for disinfection by products and rather than using acidified sodium chlorite they have come up with a chemical mix that gives them 99.9% pure chlorine dioxide. This is similar to what is used in the wilderness water ClO2 disinfection tablets that are available in outdoor gear stores.

It will be interesting to see if chlorine dioxide is more effective against malaria than chlorous acid (MMS).

Tom
